Windsor Public Library:
Doing Our Best to Stay Safe

To protect the health of us all, the Windsor Public Library closed our building on Tuesday, March 17th. On May 29th, the Governor’s amendment to the Be-Safe-Stay-Safe order allows libraries to reopen at greatly reduced capacity effective 6/1, but states that curbside delivery remains the preferred method of service. Because of this, we will continue with curbside delivery for now, but will change the hours when we are at the library and providing curbside delivery to hopefully best meet your needs.

Our new hours effective 6/8/2020 when you can reach us by phone and set up curbside delivery are:

Mondays, 9-5

Wednesdays, 11-7

Fridays, 9-4.

Saturdays, 9-1.

You can “place your order” for curbside delivery of books, DVDs, seeds, etc., by either placing books on hold in our catalog or calling the library at 802-674-2556. We will arrange a time with you when you can pick up your materials outside the library's front door.

We hope these hours will offer increased options for anyone seeking materials, information, or services. If you call us ahead of time, we can also arrange to make you needed copies, print things out for you, scan or fax.

We look forward to opening the library's doors to you, but our desire is tempered by concern and a need to do this as safely for everyone as possible. Our board and staff are communicating to create a phased reopening plan that can best meet all of our needs.
