Sale minus six weeks . Talk to Mike Quinn (674-2522) about the tent. Best to do it early, as the tent is being used more. Email him a reminder on the Wednesday before the Friday setup. 2006: Dale bought 12 2' stakes from Home Depot and a bundle of 25 4' birch stakes from LaValley. He also bought 60' of heavy duty rope, which Mike said we needed. Sixty feet wasn't enough. Buy two rolls next time. 2007: Dale has stored extra 2' and 4' stakes. This tent is a bear. Will it last many more years? Friends might purchase one or more tents for future use and rent them out to defray the expense. Question: Where to store them? Board should research this. Mike's (or anyone's) tent should be set up before the tables are brought by Nick and Sherm Carter, and taken down after the tables are gone. Dale Copps
Sales minus 4 weeks . Apply to Price Chopper for donation. They have a form to fill out which should be taken right to the store. George Haber was the manager in 2005, not sure who approved in 2006. 2005-2006 they gave a credit donation ($25 and $20 respectively). Use it to purchase 12 cans each of Coke, Diet Coke, Root Beer, and Sprite; 12 individual servings of orange and apple juice; and 24 individual servings of still water. 2007: Take the form to our Price Chopper and give right to the manager. Ask for $30 credit donation at least. Follow up. Dale Copps
Sale minus four weeks . Call Betsy Reiss and Larry Sherk (802 463-0738; twotoads@sover.net) and arrange for Sunday afternoon at 3pm pickup of leftovers. Nancy Norwalk, at Plainfield Library, may be a backup for leftovers, if Betsy and Larry are unavailable.) 2007: Have we another backup if Reiss/Sherk go out of business? Grace Batesole

Asked Chris Coxon to help at 7:30 with tables. Call him on Wednesday to remind him (674-2853). 2007: Enlist at least two (better four) young and strong males to come at 7:30 to help with setup. Sale minus four weeks . Liaison with Heritage Days publicity person (Jennifer of Chamber?). 2006: I emailed K Carriere on June 10 offering to do a better job of liaison-ing with the Heritage people. We also provide a premium (free drink) to people who show up with a passport, at K's request. 2007: Better coordination with the Heritage Days Committee is always a good idea. Dale Copps

In 2006 we cut back request to 40 cups regular and 20 decaf and no setups. 2007: Consider dropping if there is little demand for it. Don't bother writing. Call Doug and Rose Dulac (674-2358) to obtain permission to use their lawn and picnic table for kids' books area, even though he said in 2005 that we didn't have to ask each year. 2006: If we have rain on the first morning, be prepared to sell kid's books from the basement and later move them to Brian's tent if it stops.
