Previous Month's Income: $1,529.27 Previous Month's Expenses: 1,566.57 Other: Karen has loaded Quicken and transferred all 2004 financial data to the new program. Several new reports have been set up in Quicken, including MTD, YTD, Quarterly, and others. Motion to Approve Treasurer's Report: Passed (Unanimous). | |

Book Sale: Continuing to do well. Purmort sent some Internet sale money to the Friends. Tour/Sweepstakes: Currently 73 shoppers are signed up; the sale period started on November 1 and will be over on November 24. | |

| St. Nicholas Volumes: Dale contacted two parties thought to be interested in acquiring these volumes; neither responded. | |
| 8. New Business | |

Theatre Group: Meeting to be held December 4, at 1 pm, to determine if there is any interest in the town for a theater group (who will be willing to do the work of putting on a play, etc.). Dale to advertise this meeting in the Observer. Dale suggested the play could be combined with the silent auction. New Friends Purchase Ideas: 1) Dale: Light on the porch and vestibule to be attached to a light sensor so that it goes on automatically when it begins to get dark; 2) Dale: Library automation (a long-term plan, as this will cost in excess of $20k). Motion: That the Friends agree to supplement funds raised by the library Trustees from new sources or procedures for FY2005 at the rate of one dollar for every two dollars raised by the Trustees, to a ceiling of $2,000 from the Friends. Passed unanimously. | |
