Approve September Minutes: minutes were edited and a revised copy was posted.
Treasurer’s Report: None.
Attending Members Comments: Dale Copps – Art on a Limb II
· See website (http://windsorlibrary.org/limb07/index.htm) where each of the 45 leaves (by 42 artists) are displayed. On-line bidding is also being accepted for the leaves.
· 16 libraries have chosen to participate. This means that they have received the promotional materials for Art on a Limb: flyers, brochures (with pre-registration forms), bookmarks, business cards, press releases, and ads in local papers. 14 of these participating libraries will be part of next weekend’s “Leaf Tour” that Dale and Sarah are running.

At the
auction buyers will pay a $25 dollar entrance ticket that can be applied to the
purchase price of any leaf. Buyers can designate any
· Artists (plus one guest) and one librarian from each participating library have been offered free entrance tickets.

Work To
Be Done by FWL for Art on a Limb:
1.
Posters: Beth
will arrange for copies of the poster to be made and posted around
2.
Location: Dale
and Beth will work together to find a location for the auction by Oct. 1st.
3. Letter to the Editor: Robert will write a letter to the editor for the Windsor Observer.
4.
5. Emailing FWL: Beth will email the FWL members with an electronic copy of the Art on a Limb brochure.
6. Postcards: will be sent to FWL members without email addresses. Pamela will create the postcard while Ruth and Rebecca will be in charge of mailing them. Approval for costs by the FWL will be done via email.
7. Refreshments: a general discussion on refreshments. Mark will be in charge of the getting food and asking for volunteer bakers (Rebecca and Ruth volunteered as bakers). Jen will be in charge of beverages.
8. General Comments Made: it would have been more helpful to lay out and discuss the details at last month’s meeting; that local postings and mailings will wait until a venue has been chosen; the need to keep the event “high end;” everyone is encouraged to come and to recruit anyone you know to attend the event; and a thank you to Dale for his hard work and outreach.
Old Business:
· T-Shirts: Beth ordered the Vermont State Seal T-Shirts for $186, suggested selling price of $12. They came out great and can be sold at any FWL event.
· Library Camera: Jen will research a new camera to be voted on next month as a replacement for the one that is lost.
· FWL and WLT: another meeting between Robert, Robin, and Linda was held and it went well.
New Business:
· Renewal of Online Calendar: was approved for $99.99.
· Moon Dance: will be a larger event this year, Friday October 5th 5-10pm.
1. General discussion on the FWL and WLT sharing a booth space. Robert will see to that,
2. FWL approved $30 booth fee, with the hope that the WLT will provide a tent for the event.
3. Books and T-shirts will be sold at the event, and new FWL members recruited.
4. Mark and Robert will set up for the event.
5. 5-6 shift by Ruth, 6-7 shift by Beth, and 7-10 shift by Rebecca and Mark.
