Ms. Adams lives in Hinesburg. She graduated from Barnard College in New York City with a degree in Art History. She has exhibited extensively in New York, Boston, and Vermont. Her drawings are realistic in style, abstract in concept, and are typically produced in graphite and watercolor on paper.
In “maple .... ample glory” she adheres to her chosen media, the wooden leaf serving as a setting for two additional leaves typifying Vermont's green and golden seasons. Says the artist, “It seems appropriate to integrate words into a piece of art created for a library.”
