Ruth and Bill Botzow live in Bennington; their niece, Erica Krimmel, visited them from home in San Diego this summer. Mr. Botzow’s work includes performance, painting, drawing, sculpture, and installations. He has exhibited widely for over 30 years.
We knew something was up when our invitation to Mr. Botzow came back with a request for three leaves. Their joint effort, “The Strength of Three,” is a sculpture/collage in mixed media that is a celebration, in paint, paper, words, and wood, of all things maple.
