Ms. Chevalier lives in Enosburg Falls. Her series of “Spence” books (Spence Is Small, Spence and the Sleepytime Monster, etc.) have helped many a preschooler–and their moms—cope with the growing pains of the very young.
Her contribution, “Sharing a Secret,” is an original illustration from Willy Is a Maple Leaf, a children's book in progress. It cleverly, and wonderfully, incorporates a portion of the bare pine into the overall design.
