Ms. Nolte lives in Montpelier. Primarily a quiltmaker, she was formerly Coordinator of the Art Responding Through Technology (ARTT) online mentoring program, and is now a doctoral student at UVM.
Her talent for abstraction in quiltmaking is evident in her “Tree Man,” a mythic expression of the symbiosis between the human spirit and all of nature—vibrant, kinetic, and celebratory.
