Ms. Pealer lives in Windsor. She has painted for more than 20 years from studios in Vermont, West Virginia, and Lake Placid, New York. Her paintings are in private and public collections throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and she currently has a show (through September 30) at the Springfield Hospital.
“Snow Days at the Library” depicts the 101-year-old Windsor Library on a particularly blustery winter day, the chill almost palpable in the windswept tree and sky. A print version is available as a greeting card in the Library; however, this is an original in acrylic and gold paint and ink.
