The Art on a Limb Libraries

All Leaves On Display Through Noon, Oct 14
at Three Seasons Gifts and Antiques
85 Main Street (at the foot of State St.), Windsor, VT

Vermont has more libraries per capita than any other state in the union—190 of them! And Art on a Limb can benefit them all! When you sign up to be a registered bidder, select any Vermont public library to receive your donation for “bidder’s rights” and your purchase price for any leaves you may win at the online and live auction.

Libraries across the country are finding themselves in the unprecedented position of enjoying increasing patronage while struggling against rapidly and precipitously declining public financial support. Many public libraries are slashing hours, staff, and services, and too many are closing their doors altogether.

You can express your support for public libraries in general, and yours in particular—and maybe even win a beautiful, original work of art by a renowned Vermont artist—by donating $25 to the Vermont public library of your choice and taking part in this unique statewide event.

Art on a Limb has been made possible thanks to a generous underwriting grant from the Byrne Foundation of Etna, New Hampshire, and to several private donations.
