Let your public library know they have your support, and take part in an auction of these beautiful and original works of art. Just print this form, fill it out, and mail it to the managers of this statewide event:

Enclose a check for $25 for each person planning to bid online, provide one or more “Left Bids” (see below), or attend the auction on October 14, 2007. Please make your check out to Friends of Windsor Library. Only one $25 donation is required per bidder/attendee. You may apply the donation toward a winning bid on a leaf or, if you don't win a leaf, take it as a tax-deductible charitable contribution. In either case, the Vermont public library of your choice is the big winner.

Four Ways to Bid
The Current High Bid for the Art on a Limb leaves is posted on each leaf’s “personal page” on this web site. Here's an example. Bid on your choice of leaves in one of four ways:
1) Bid Now. Fill in the form below with bids higher than the Current High Bid for the leaves you want.

2) Bid By Email. After sending in this form, email your bids through an email link on the personal pages of the leaves until 6 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on October 14, 2007.
Note: If you have the Current High Bid online at 6 a.m. EDT on October 14 and do not attend the auction in person, you will be called (at your option) by the auction manager when the leaf is up for sale at the live Final Day Auction and given the opportunity to bid on that leaf via telephone against any bidders present at the auction.
3) Bid at the Auction. Make bids in person at the live Final Day Auction on October 14, 2007, at 2 p.m. EDT, at the Knave of Hearts Museum Café in Windsor, Vermont, located in the old Firehouse at 147 Main Street, between the two stoplights.
4) Left Bids. As an alternative to the other options, you can tell us how high you want to bid on your selection of leaves, and we’ll bid for you at the auction, and try to obtain your leaves at the lowest possible price. (These are known as “Left Bids.”) You may also limit the number of leaves you wish to buy. For example, you can provide us with Left Bids for six leaves, but specify that you only want to purchase a total of three leaves. Note: The leaves will be sold in alphabetical order by artist last name/first name, in the same order they are shown on the Artists page.
