Plans are in the works for National Library Week 2017 which will be held April 9-15.  "Libraries Transform" will return as the theme, reminding all people that today's libraries are not about what they have for people, but what they do for and with people.

During National Library Week 2016, libraries from around the country were asked to submit video responses to the question “What does transformation look like at your library?"  Here's what they had to say:
Thanks for making National Library Week 2016 at Windsor Public Library a success!

The programs we offered included Knitting Group, Politics of Food Book Discussion Group, Preschool Storytime, After-school Program, Spanish Class, Teen Role Playing Group, Yo-Yo Club and a program about the Hidden Tips and Tricks of Facebook.

We celebrated National Bookmobile Day by making visits to the residents of Historic Homes of Runnemede to deliver books and National Volunteer Week by recognizing our volunteers at a celebration at the Snapdragon Inn.

Thanks for being a part of everything that makes our library great!
