Due Date. Go back to form.
The Due Date is the latest date stamped on the item. The stamp is usually found on the inside back cover of books, and may be either inside or outside the case for audio and video tapes. The new Due Date for books and audiotapes you renew with this form will be two weeks from the date you send it. The new Due Date for videotapes will be one week from the date the form is sent. We do not charge for overdue items, but hope that you will return or renew items in a timely fashion and, when you do not, that you will contribute to our "Conscience Box" to help defray the expenses we incur in pursuing overdue items.

Call Number. Go back to form.
Every circulating item in the library has a "call number" label on it. On books it's usually on the spine. Librarians attach these labels so they can tell where to shelve the item when it is returned (and where to find it the next time there is a "call" for it). Labels on nonfiction items have a number on them, because nonfiction items are shelved using a numbering system (the Dewey Decimal System in our library). If you are renewing a nonfiction item, we need to have the call number in order to update your borrowing record for that item. For a fiction item, all we need is the author.
